1. Trial Period

    Trial Details
    Duration: 30 calendar days from activation
Full Feature Access: Complete access to all Zioan applications and features
Unlimited Users: No user limits during trial
Trial Extension: Not available - 30 days is the maximum trial period

  

Important: The trial includes all features with no restrictions. It is identical to the licensed version.

2. Trial Software Functionality

During the trial period, you have complete access to:

Full Platform Access

All Applications: Spaces, Documents, Code Snippets, Project Boards, Chat, Files, and more
Self-Hosted Deployment: Complete deployment capability on your infrastructure
Real-Time Collaboration: All collaboration and productivity features
Guest Access: External collaboration functionality
Data Management: Complete data creation and management capabilities
Enterprise Security: Role-based access control and security features

3. Critical Data Access Warning

⚠️ IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY

What Happens at Trial Expiration:

If License Purchased: Full continued access to all data and features
If No License Purchased: Software automatically locks and becomes inaccessible
Data Inaccessibility: ALL data, documents, projects, and work created during trial becomes completely inaccessible
No Grace Period: Locking occurs immediately at 11:59 PM on the 30th day
No Data Recovery: Without license purchase, there is no method to recover or export trial data

Your Responsibility

Monitor trial expiration date closely
Purchase license before expiration if you wish to retain access
Export any critical data before expiration if not purchasing
Understand that trial data cannot be recovered post-expiration without license purchase

Use with non-critical data and projects
Export data during the active trial period

You May Not

Extend trial period beyond 30 days
Create multiple trial accounts for same organization
Use for production/critical business operations
Share trial access beyond your immediate team
Attempt to bypass license validation mechanisms

8. Privacy and Data

During Trial

Your Data Stays Private

Self-Hosted: All trial data remains on your infrastructure
No Data Access: We cannot access, read, or use your trial data or content in any way
Minimal Communication: Limited "call home" functionality for license validation and update checking only
Registration Data Only: Communication limited to information you provided during registration

What We Never Collect

Zero Data Collection

No host addresses, IP addresses, or network information
No user content, documents, or project data
No usage patterns, activity logs, or behavioral data
No personal information beyond initial registration details

Trial Data Security

Same enterprise-grade security as full licensed version
Data encryption and access controls fully functional
Your responsibility to secure your trial installation

9. Liability and Disclaimers

Trial Software "As-Is"

Trial version provided without warranties
Not suitable for production or critical use (your data will be locked after expiration if license is not purchased)
Your responsibility to backup any important trial data
We are not liable for any data loss
Hosting Responsibility: You are responsible for providing reliable hosting infrastructure for your trial installation. Service interruptions caused by hosting providers or infrastructure failures are outside our control and responsibility

Your Risk

Understand that trial data will be lost if license not purchased
Use trial period responsibly for evaluation only
Do not store irreplaceable data during trial

10. Trial Expiration Process

Automatic Locking

Software locks automatically at trial expiration
No manual intervention or warnings provided
All user access immediately disabled
Administrative functions become unavailable

Post-Expiration

    License Purchase Still Possible
    License purchase still possible after expiration
Previously created trial data becomes accessible again upon license activation
Standard license pricing applies regardless of timing
